In January of 2024 I had a serious accident that prevented me from working in the clay studio for 5 months. While my left arm and collarbone healed I began exploring the world of mono printing. I was able to work one handed on my dining room table. It kept my hands in art and helped keep my spirits up. I also fell in love with the process. I am healed now and am back to clay. Still, I continue to explore mono printing and collage in my off studio hours.
As with my clay work these mono prints celebrate the natural world. I use acrylic paint, a gelli plate and paper to create one-of-a-kind compositions. Each mono print is matted in standard sizes ready for framing. While some of these specific pieces are no longer available for purchase, many are.
