This one-of-a-kind small jar could be used as a sugar bowl or to keep spices, jam, jewelry or other small treasures. It was wheel thrown from white stoneware clay. At the leather hard stage it was trimmed, hand carved and assembled. After a bisque firing, three glazes were applied. Interior is sunny yellow. Exterior has overlapping yellow, apricot and green glazes causing color variations over the carved designs.
