This bowl was designed to hold a ball of yarn for knitting but may also be used as a unique serving piece on your table. It was wheel thrown from white stoneware clay, then hand carved with clay embellishments added for function and decoration. After a bisque firing, three glazes were applied. Interior is apricot with flashes of cream and exterior is a combination of soft green, yellow and apricot glazes.
