A wheel thrown white stoneware bowl with a one-of-a-kind illustration. The drawing was carved into the clay with an x-acto knife and other tools through a layer of wax resist. A dark underglaze was inlaid in to the carved lines to make them pop. After a bisque firing an assortment of glazes and underglazes were applied with a brush. Bowl interior is grassy green.
3-1/2" tall, 6-7/8 diameter, holds 3-1/2 cups.
